Trilha Sonora da Adolescência

Como eu já disse aqui, em um dos meus posts gigantescos sobre minha viagem que ninguém deve ter lido, eu comprei a trilha de Bandits na Amoeba - um sonho de loja de CD. A trilha é bem legal, e tem dois “clássicos bregas” da Bonnie Tyler.Vocês lembram de um filme dos anos 80 chamado “Streets of fire“? Pois bem, a primeira música na trilha da Bonnie Tyler - “Holding up for a hero”, não está na trilha desse filme mas bem que poderia estar.

Mas a musica mais clássica da cantora pop-brega dos anos 80 vem lá pelo final do CD: Total Eclipse of the heart! Essa marcou a adolescência de muita gente. Bom, pelo menos eu sei que marcou a minha e de minhas amigas. A música é um “popzinho” muito safado e a letra não poderia ser mais dramática - perfeita para chorar as mágoas sobre o garoto lindo da escola que nem dá bola pra gente.

Claro que depois desse revival musical eu fui procurar a letra (longuíssima) da música. Segue, com meus comentários

Para meninas

Meninas, vocês lembram de um dos primeiros anúncios da Coca Cola light que passou aqui no Brasil? Era com um carregador de água gostosão que chegava num escritório só de mulheres e parava o ambiente. Já deu pra lembrar? Bom, agora faça um esforço para se lembrar da música do comercial. Eu sei que não era nisso que você prestava atenção, mas com esforço você lembra…:-)Era um blues muito legal chamado “I just wanna make love to you” e a letra original foi escrita por Willie Dixon lá pelos idos de 1940 se eu não me engano. Mas a letra do comercial era uma ‘versão feminina’ da música gravada em 1994 por Etta James.

A versão original de Dixon era:

O show do Berimbrown foi de longe o
melhor show da primeira noite do Free Jazz Project!

Os caras tem ‘m? energia! O som empolga, dá
vontade de dançar e as músicas são ótimas.
A ‘performance de batuque’ de uns 3 caras é
muito legal.

Eu nunca tinha ido a um show deles. Conhecia um
pouco por causa de um amigo que já tinha ido
a um show e sempre dizia que era dez!
E ele tem toda razão. Quando encontrar o CD
dos caras, vou comprar.
